"My wife purchased a "Cemo 50s" for me at cycle gear as a gift. She was so impressed with the service and help she received from two of your employee's that she contacted their manager before she left to tell him what a good job they did. Unfortunately she cannot remember their names.
A couple of days later I took the Cemo 50s headset and my helmet in to have it installed. I also had a good experience. A young man behind the counter (unknown name) very quietly and efficiently install the headset. While waiting for it to be installed I ask a young lady the location of an item I was looking for. (I believe this young lady was the acting manager for the day (Sunday) She was also very polite and helpful, she ended up walking me to three different locations in the store to find what I was looking for.
After returning to the counter to get my helmet I had a few questions to ask about the headset. There was another young man behind the counter, his name was Matt. Matt was very knowledgeable about the product and very patiently and courteously answered all of my questions and installed several app's for me. When I left the store I already had a big headstart on learning how to use the headset, which was great, us old timers (81 yrs.) have a hard time with all this new TECH stuff. All around a great buying experience for me and my wife.
Bear with me but I would like to contrast this great experience with an episode I had at Cycle Gear many years ago, maybe 10 t0 15 years. I went in to buy a motorcycle jacket, the mesh kind with inserts for warmth and rain. I wanted to make sure I got the right one and there were many to choose from. The young lady that was helping me was a supervisor. She was impatient to the point of being rude and not very helpful, despite the fact there were not many customers in the store. Consequently I left and bought my jacket elsewhere and have not been back since, until this latest purchase.
Needlessly to say I was pleasantly surprised to see the difference. MY WIFE AND I DEALT WITH FIVE OF YOUR EMPLOYEE'S ON TWO SEPARATE DAYS, ALL OF THEM WERE POLITE, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND PROFESSIONAL. THIS IS AN INDICATION TO ME THAT THE STORE IS UNDER EXCELLENT MANAGEMENT."

"I've been a long time Cycle Gear customer. But I've never been to the store in Sac before. It's really huge, and everyone we met were really helpful.. We picked up a couple of new helmets and got a quick tutorial on the bluetooth that was built in. Definitely a great place to shop if you're in the area."
"You don’t have to be friendly, but don’t go out of your way to be rude. I was checking out and cashier was extremely rude. Totally uncalled for. If your having a bad day just do your job, being rude never make anything better. The young lady had two names on her name tag, Kim and below that Leslie. She wouldn’t tell if or which was her name, probably cause she knew I would complain about her. Really bad experience and I liked shopping at cycle gear. Never had anything but great experiences until this. "
"Not that great. The store was unorganized so difficult to find items. The line to get out was 6 to 7 people deep and took 10+ minutes. However the staff was friendly but I wouldn’t recommend to anyone to shop there any more. Oh and the store is dirty...cleaning the entry way wouldn’t hurt. "
